Free Xbox 360 Games!

The wonderful thing about having an XBOX Live Membership is all of the awesome opportunities to win great prizes and interact with our friends. The XBOX Live Game Marketplace is also a great way to access many cool arcade titles, DLC, Gamerpics, and Themes, but many times we just cannot afford to shell out the cash for those valuable Microsoft Points.

So what is a gamer supposed to do in this situation? The best option would be to download a few of the fun arcade titles that are actually available to download for free! Yes I said FREE!

Aegis Wing

Araxia is invading the galaxy again and it is your job to prevent them from accomplishing their goal of destruction in this very retro, but high definition, side-scrolling space shooter. Aegis Wing is 2 to 4 Players Online or Offline and features 200 Gamerscore worth of very tricky and challenging Achievements. Rated E for Everyone; Aegis Wing features Mild Fantasy Violence.

Dorito's Crash Course

If you have watched that crazy television game show where contestants try to maneuver throughan outrageous obstacle course whilst risking peril below in the muddy water? The show with poor Japanese/ American voice-overs? Well Dorito's Crash Course was in the finals of the 2ND Unlock Dorito's Contest and is completely Non-Doritos related! This game is a fun obstacle course game for everyone to enjoy and is absolutely free! Use your Avatar to race through the course using airlifts, ropes, chains, and conveyor belts, in solo or multiplayer modes! If you don't download this you are truly missing out on a good time and lots of laughs. Oh yeah 200 more Gamerscore!

Dorito's Dash For Destruction

Dorito's Crash Course is a family oriented top down racing genre game created by a community gamer in the Unlock Doritos Challenge, the Doritos contest where gamers create original arcade games to see who will get a contract with a professional game development company.

In this game players take control of a T-Rex on a mission to crunch as many Dorito delivery trucks as possible, while destroying as many buildings in the city for points and power ups. This is definitely a game for everyone and also has 200 Gamerscore worth of super easy achievements! Did I happen to mention you can download for free in the XBOX Game Marketplace?

Harm's Way

Harm's Way is one of the most original racing action arcade games you could ask for and the best thing about Harm's Way is that you can download it for free, just like the other games from the Unlock Doritos Contest. Choose to play as a Driver and race the track, activating Tower Upgrades for your team and Tower Downgrades to lessen the fire power of the opponents sniper towers. Choose to be the Shooter and snipe out the opposing teams racers as they tear across the course! For absolutely nothing, this is probably my favorite arcade game for the XBOX 360!

So what are you waiting for? Get to the Game Marketplace and get 4 great games for absolutely nothing. The only thing you need is an Xbox Live Silver or Gold account and enough storage space on your hard drive. Hope this helps everyone have a better box experience. Catch you on line.

Trials HD review

Well after a long wait for some suggestions to come through Dooyoo, one of them eventually managed to be completed so here I am writing the review for the Xbox Live Arcade game Trials HD. When I first heard of the game I did actually wonder if it involved you being a judge in a court or something and certainly did not sound great! However I found it was a motorbike game and started to get interested in it! I did decide to buy Trials HD and thought it sounded quite good. I would now call the game like a motorbike racing puzzle game!

The main aim of the game is to get from one place to another in as quick a time as possible and with the least amount of crashes. However to get to the finish line you will have to pull off some cool stunts and try to stay on your feet (well bike) and trying to manoeuvre your way around the landscape. The game is mostly great fun and very addictive and you will find yourself coming back to it for more and more. You will however get frustrated when on the hard difficulties especially on the last few levels are stuck on the same section about 50 times in a row and then realise how to do it and conquer it and then repeat the whole process again for the next section about 10 sections after it! However there are leaderboards to prove your times and you can also watch videos of how the top people did the level and can even see what buttons they pressed which can be helpful. To get through the game you will have to use common sense and have lots of patience. You will need to w ork out that you should tip the bike forward when landing at this time and then reverse and then do a flip and then accelerate as hard as you can at certain points and you need to basically keep the riders balance while trying to get the quickest time - a hard task!

There is also a skill mode with a few minigame which is nowhere as good as the main game but is a good distraction. One of these involves rolling around in a giant ball and trying to survive for as long as possible!

There is also a level creator which is great fun and has lots of options and if you spent a little time you could make some great tracks to play on. One problem with this though is the fact that you cannot download anyone's custom tracks and only those on your friends list which could stop you from getting some awesome tracks!

The graphics are really cool and a mix of 2D and 3D and old and new. They work really well and the game looks great!

Overall trials HD is a brilliant game and lots of fun and one I would recommend! The game is available for 1200 Microsoft Points from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Although, there are some people there who want to see how the labor of the horse trainers will become fruit.

One thing we cannot deny, however, is the fact that most sports, like horse racing is being changed by technology. People who cannot go to the track today can bet, watch and win a horse race on the internet. People who do so either have no time or no energy to actually go to a track. Why should you spend the energy to get all dressed for complete strangers when you can watch the race wearing shorts in your living room? In fact, technology has taken this even further and produced the horse racing computer game.

What are the different types of horse racing video games?

1) Betting many horse racing video games today allow people to bet their cash on a specific video horse. Some actually look like slot machines and allow people to bet their quarters on a specific horse. Others are just video machines that owners put up in bars in order to take bets from the patrons. Betting is an essential part of horse racing since many people are only interested in the sport because of the money. In many countries today, these machines are actually illegal.

2) Training many horse racing computer games put the emphasis on training. In fact, many trainers use this type of software to help guide them in taking proper care of their horse. This horse racing computer game takes the data from various trainers and races and tries to imitate real life. By taking care and training your virtual horse properly, you can win a lot of races in this type of horse racing video game. Some developers actually add a lot of realism and even have features such as resource management and career profiles.

This type of horse racing computer game puts you inside the shoes of a trainer, a jockey, or a manager. You need to be able to choose your investments wisely and you need to learn how to train your horse properly in order to succeed at this horse racing computer game. This horse racing computer game also places your horse in simulated races against other opponents in order to judge how well you have done. Of course, it goes without saying that you do not beat the game until you beat the other horses.

3) Internet the internet holds the future of computer gaming. Many people today are not satisfied with the action that a conventional horse racing computer game provides. Sometimes, it is better to test your skills as a trainer against another trainer. This is the reason why most horse racing computer games today have internet connectivity.

People who wish to test the skills of their virtual horses need only go online and race against each other. Of course, such races can be very big events and involve big money. Hey, you didn't think that horse racing computer games would be free of gambling, did you?

Xbox 360 Shut Down and Red Ring of Death Troubleshooting Tips

Xbox 360 Shut Down and Red Ring of Death Troubleshooting Tips

If your Xbox 360 shuts down and shows 3 red lights around the console button, before you panic you must first determine what color your Power Supply light is showing. A green LED, red LED, an orange/yellow LED and a not lit LED all mean something different. The main reason most Xbox 360 units stop working is because of overheating, which is indicative of a design flaw.

To keep Your Unit from Overheating To Prevent the Red Ring of Death

The tips given here are intended to be prevention measures for your Xbox when it is brand new if you wish to avoid heating problems for your console. Here are other things you should look for if your Xbox 360 is not working or just stops working in the middle of a game.

If the Power Supply LED light is GREEN: Turn off the console. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn on the console again to see if the problem repeats. If restarting your Xbox 360 console does not solve the problem and your console continues to display three flashing red lights, call tech support or submit a console-repair request online.

Before you call tech support, take note as to what three red lights are flashing and in what order they flash as the tech will ask you for this information to help determine the problem.

If the Power Supply LED light is RED: This issue occurs when the external power supply has detected a fault. The power supply has several built-in safeguards to help prevent damage to either the console or to the power supply itself. The power supply will turn itself off if one of the following things happens: too much current, voltage is too high, or temperature of the power supply is too high.

If the Power Supply LED light is ORANGE/YELLOW: If the power supply light is orange but the console will not turn on, there may be a problem with the console. An orange light is illuminated on the power supply for one of the following reasons: the console is turned off, the power supply is disconnected from the console or the power supply cord is not fully inserted into the power socket of the console. Here are some steps that you can use to try to fix the Orange/Yellow LED problem.

If the Power Supply LED light is not lit at all (no glow): If the power supply light is not illuminated, this usually means that the power supply is disconnected from the wall socket. Try the following steps to resolve the No Power light problem:
